When I was in Paris in July, sale was still going on and the shop windows called the attention of the passers-by to their special offers. This is the window of one of my favourite shops in the Marais, "DOM- Christian Koban", you can find there kitsh and funny items as well as fancy furniture.

In Paris the colour "bleu" always caughts my eyes. I don´t know any other city where you can see so much of it.

Les Archives Nationales

The Archives nationales (National Archives) preserve the national archives of the French state. The original documents stored at the AN range from AD 625 to today and constitute one of the largest and most important archival collections in the world. The AN has been located since 1808 in a group of buildings comprising the Hôtel de Soubise and the Hôtel de Rohan in the district of the Marais.

This restaurant is close to a bed & breakfast where I stayed two years ago. I´ve never eaten there and completely forgotten about it until I passed by during my last stay.
