I passed by "Chez Janou" many times and always thought that it looked nice but never ate there. I would love to sit under the green/white canopy and next to the olive tree.

Bright coloured tables and chairs always catch my eyes. I discovered these in the 2nd arrondissement in front of the bistro "Dalva".

Le petit déjeuner

After a pause of some months, I´m now trying to reanimate this blog. Let´s start with a photo of my first breakfast after my arrival to Paris in July at "Le Square Trousseau". Chez Julien

This restaurant is close to a bed & breakfast where I stayed two years ago. I´ve never eaten there and completely forgotten about it until I passed by during my last stay.

This beautifully decorated window belongs to an Italian restaurant right next to the Place de la Concorde.

Oh happy days

After a visit to yesterday´s vintage shop, you could continue your journey through time at "Happy Days Diner" and enjoy the ambiance of the American 1950´s. Maybe it´s a little weird to go to an American diner in Paris, but I think I will give it a try someday.

La Fontaine Gaillon

The restaurant "La Fontaine Gaillon" is located in a "hôtel particulier" constructed in 1672 between the Opera and the Palais Royal AND it belongs to French actor Gérard Depardieu.

Georges

From the restaurant Georges, located on level 6 of the Centre Pompidou, you have a panoramic view of the town. In April 2007 I took a break on the terrace of the restaurant and drank the most expensive mineral water of my life...

Breakfast At "Ma Bourgogne"

In November 2009 I wanted to take my first breakfast in Paris at "Ma Bourgogne" on Place des Vosges. It took me three attempts until I finally got a free table..., I enjoyed my breakfast all the more! (And altough I know that the outside heaters are not good for the environment, I love to sit underneath one of them.)

Colours of Paris #8: Orange

Orange is not my colour, nevertheless I like the portal of this small restaurant somewhere near the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in the Quartier Latin.
