Window Shutters
I love the French windows with the wrought iron decorations and the shutters, however in this photo something is missing. The geraniums!

Les Soldes #1
When I was in Paris in July, sale was still going on and the shop windows called the attention of the passers-by to their special offers. This is the window of one of my favourite shops in the Marais, "DOM- Christian Koban", you can find there kitsh and funny items as well as fancy furniture.

Rue de l´Arsenal
A quiet street close to the Port de Plaisance, soft coloured window shutters, flowers in front of a window, a bicycle - basically nothing special, but to me in Paris even the normal things are beautiful.

La Tour Saint-Jacques
This 52 metres (171 ft) Gothic tower, built from 1509 to 1523,
is all that remains of the former 16th century Church of
Saint-Jacques-de-la-Boucherie ("Saint James of the butchery") which was
leveled shortly after the French Revolution. The tower's rich decoration reflects the wealth of its patrons, the wholesale butchers of the nearby Les Halles market. The ancient church and its landmark tower welcomed pilgrims setting out on the road that led to Tours and headed for the way of St James, which led to the major pilgrimage destination of Santiago de Compostela.

Geraniums
The Parisian window boxes are traditionally planted with geraniums. A hotel in Rue Cler sets a good example...

Le Port de Plaisance #1
The marina at the Bassin de l´Arsenal is on the Saint Martin Canal, has 170 berths and receives boats of a maximum 25 meters long, on a yearly basis, or by the month or the day. The north end of the marina is adjacent to Place de la Bastille - if you watch carefully, you can see the July column.
