Chanel Be@rbrick

Be@rbrick is a collectible toy designed and produced by a Japanese toy company. The name is derived from the fact that the figure is a cartoon-style representation of a bear. The first figure was released in 2001 as a free gift to visitors of the World Character Convention 12 in Tokyo. Since then Bearbricks have been released in several different sizes using a variety of materials. Many contemporary artists and designers have designed figures. Last November I discovered this Chanel figure in a shop window.

Pastel Colours at Ladurée

The Ladurée windows are always a delight for the eyes. I immediately fell in love with these pastel coloured boxes.

La Rentrée scolaire

Holidays are over, today starts the new school year in Paris. I hope it will be happy one and the children will still find the time to play ball.

Les Soldes #1

When I was in Paris in July, sale was still going on and the shop windows called the attention of the passers-by to their special offers. This is the window of one of my favourite shops in the Marais, "DOM- Christian Koban", you can find there kitsh and funny items as well as fancy furniture.

I always love to watch the beautifully decorated windows of the Parisian high fashion stores. Well, Dior wasn´t paticularly inventive in November...

Bright colours at Ladurée

Adjacent to the salon de thè on Rue Royale, Ladurée has opened a new boutique. If you just want to buy some sweet treat "à emporter" (to take away") you don´t have to enter the tearoom any more.
