I love fashion exhibitions and Paris is the perfect place for this affection. Until October 7 runs an exhibition of Cristóbal Baliencaga(1895-1972) at the Cité de la Mode et du Design. Organized by the Musée Galliera (Musée de la mode et du costume) with the support of the House of Balenciaga,
the show features more than 70 costumes and ephemera of the 18th, 19th,
and 20th centuries (Balenciaga was an avid collector of period pieces that gave him inspiration), juxtaposed with 40 Balenciaga garments. Click here for a short video.
