Chanel Be@rbrick

Be@rbrick is a collectible toy designed and produced by a Japanese toy company. The name is derived from the fact that the figure is a cartoon-style representation of a bear. The first figure was released in 2001 as a free gift to visitors of the World Character Convention 12 in Tokyo. Since then Bearbricks have been released in several different sizes using a variety of materials. Many contemporary artists and designers have designed figures. Last November I discovered this Chanel figure in a shop window.

  1. Such a strange looking creature wearing Channel sunglasses.

  2. I've not seen these little bears before Vreni but obviously if the top name fashion houses have embraced them they will be Big! The Chanel version is quite glitzy.
